B1/B2 LEVEL FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION

Among the accreditation conditions of the programs that are in the accreditation process in the Faculties of our university, there is the provision of the competence specified in the Higher Education Qualifications Framework of Turkey: 'To be able to follow the information in the field and communicate with colleagues by using a foreign language at least at the European Language Portfolio B1 General Level'.

In this direction, the School of Foreign Languages has opened foreign language courses at the B1/B2 level in all Faculty programs since the fall semester of 2022-2023. The name, content, national credits and ECTS of these courses have been standardized in all faculties. In addition, in accordance with the nature of foreign language education, practical credits have been added to the theoretical courses. In this context, the courses listed in the table below were opened and put into practice with the decision of the relevant senate.
